IO Crest 1 port DB25 Parallel Printer Port PCI-e x1 Controller Card (SY-PEX10007)

Functional but not user friendly, (What's this?) I used this card to make a new computer running Windows 7 compatible to a customer's favorite printer. Once configured, it works just fine. However, configuration can take a little guesswork and good luck. Windows 7 will not automatically install this device. I went to the manufacurer's web site to download drivers. The manufacturer provides drivers for all their products for all platforms, but none of the products exactly matched the card. With a little educated guesswork, I was able to download a functional driver and the system has been up for three weeks without a problem.
